Introduction
TSFM is a mitochondrial translation elongation factor which is linked with the EF-Tu.GDP complex and induces the exchange of GDP to GTP. TSFM stays bound to the aminoacyl-tRNA.EF-Tu.GTP complex until the GTP hydrolysis stage on the ribosome. Mutations in TSFM are related with combined oxidative phosphorylation deficiency-3 syndrome.
Description
TSFM Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 302 amino acids (46-346 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 32.9kDa.
TSFM is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation
TSFM protein solution (1mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 10% glycerol and 0.4M Urea.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
