C反應(yīng)蛋白(C-reactionprotein，CRP)在1930年由Tillet和Francis發(fā)現(xiàn)。*初他們觀察到一些急性病人的血清可與肺炎鏈球菌的莢膜C-多糖發(fā)生反應(yīng)，隨后證實(shí)能與C-多糖反應(yīng)的物質(zhì)是一種蛋白質(zhì)，因而將這種蛋白質(zhì)命名為C-反應(yīng)蛋白(C-reaction protein，CRP)。
急性時(shí)相反應(yīng)包括感染、炎癥及創(chuàng)傷時(shí)某些血清蛋白濃度的變化，這些蛋白除CRP外，還包括血清淀粉樣蛋白A、纖維蛋白原、觸珠蛋白、α1酸性糖蛋白、銅藍(lán)蛋白、α1抗胰蛋白酶等。其中CRP在健康人血清中濃度很低（＜5mg/L），而在細(xì)菌感染或組織損傷時(shí)，其濃度顯著升高，故被認(rèn)為其*有價(jià)值。
